Mr. Borthistle has a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Western Washington University. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Education also from WWU. Glenn’s teaching career started in the Surrey School District in British Columbia in 1989. In 1994 he accepted a position as Vice Principal in SD No. 83, North Okanagan-Shuswap (BC) and in 1999 became a Principal in SD No. 83. He was named the Director of Human Resources in 2008 in SD No. 83, and became the Superintendent of SD No. 83 in 2013. Glenn Borthistle joined Maple Leaf in 2017, serving as the vice-principal of MLIS-Tianjin TEDA.
